The Kid Loves His Chocolate

It seems like all my recent posts have been about chocolate lately. Anyway, I made a batch of banana muffins for breakfast this morning. I sprinkled a few chocolate chips on the top of each one. When I gave Eli his for breakfast, they were still warm from the oven and the chocolate chips were a little melted. I went to grab something and came back to this:

A little chocolate chip can go a long way.

Messy Mommy and Me

Eli and I have been taking a class through community ed called Messy Mommy and Me. It was pretty fun, today was the last day. Basically we just showed up and there were tables of different art projects set up. The instructor's only job was to just follow us around and clean up after the kids - Loved her!

Our Little Copy Cat

So Eli has started to copy everything that we do lately.  I walked into the bathroom the other day, and this is what I saw:

From watching us, he seems to think this is what you do in the bathroom!  I'm worried how this may affect potty-training!

My Chocolate Lover

My friend's husband had surgery today, so I decided to make him his favorite treats and take them to them later on tonight. The top layer consists of melted chocolate chips and melted butterscotch chips, blended together. You pour it on the top, and then let it sit 4-5 hours until it's solidified. Eli watched me make these and wanted some, which I didn't give him because I knew that until the chocolate solidified, it would be a mess. However, he is a boy who overcomes little obstacles - like me saying no. I turned around for literally no more than 30 seconds and he has grabbed a spoon from the silverware drawer, and was on his tip toes so that he could reach the spoon into the melted chocolate, dip the spoon in, and lick it.

Check SpellingI was right - melted chocolate everywhere.

Climbing

Nothing cuter than bare buns climbing up your Enertainment Center.
And he reached what he wanted!
