My Chocolate Lover

My friend's husband had surgery today, so I decided to make him his favorite treats and take them to them later on tonight. The top layer consists of melted chocolate chips and melted butterscotch chips, blended together. You pour it on the top, and then let it sit 4-5 hours until it's solidified. Eli watched me make these and wanted some, which I didn't give him because I knew that until the chocolate solidified, it would be a mess. However, he is a boy who overcomes little obstacles - like me saying no. I turned around for literally no more than 30 seconds and he has grabbed a spoon from the silverware drawer, and was on his tip toes so that he could reach the spoon into the melted chocolate, dip the spoon in, and lick it.

I was right - melted chocolate everywhere.

Climbing

Fountain Hills Festival

Isaac, Eli and I went to the Fountain Hills Festival last week and had a great time.  Eli's favorite part was the park.

Boyce Canyon State Park

Isaac, Eli and I went hiking at Boyce Canyon State Park on Sat. Eli thought riding in the baby backpack was so fun, especially when he figured out just how much Isaac didn't like it when he pulled his hair.

My Buddy

Eli and his best buddy, Kamrynn - they go to sleep and the parents staye up all night playing Settlers of Catan or the Wii. It works out great for everyone!
