A Hug Gone Wrong

Well, Thanksgiving is over, and the best part definitely was a visit from my friend Tapia who I haven't seen in 8 years. Last time I saw her she was heading off to Alaska to pull an Int0-The-Wild (but with a different ending) and I was heading off on my mission. I wish my friends came to Arizona more often! It was so great to catch up on the last 8 years, and we needed more than the 3 hours we had. Other highlights of this last week include going to Twilight with Isaac (or dragging Isaac to Twilight, however you want to phrase it), sporting my very own Twilight shirt that Candice surprised me with that day. Ah, how proud Isaac was to be holding my hand, as 1 girl said to her friend "is that adult wearing a Twilight shirt?" Now I'm looking forward to putting up our Christmas tree, although I am really wondering how I am going to keep Eli out of the tree and from taking all the ornaments off of the tree.

Baking Like a Maniac

I've been baking like crazy lately, trying to find some new holiday recipes to give out for Christmas treats. I've been trying to organize these recipes, remember which ones I liked, didn't like, which recipes I have or haven't tried, etc. Anyway, I decided to start a blog to organize everything, and help me remember what I did, so if you want to check it out it's:

We fly back to Arizona today, but here's more pictures of Eli enjoying Grandma and Grandpa's - especially all of their outside toys!
