It is 3 AM and I can't sleep for some reason, so I decided to do some blogging while watching 3 AM television, which is really bad. It's either infomercials or a really old Die Hard movie. I've also been trying to change the background and fix some issues I'm having with Blogspot, but since I am no IT guru, it's not working and the blog has weird fonts, colors and other problems, but I am giving up on that for now. Our computer has been broken for a while and I've been waiting for Isaac to have time to fix it and for new hardware, so I haven't blogged much or even been on the computer much lately. And once again, my favorite list got deleted, so I don't have any one's blog address, if you want to send it to me.
We have lots of new news! Isaac interviewed for a new job here in the IT department on the army base and found out this week that he got it. He is going to be an Intelligence Specialist, whatever that means! Basically who looks at who is trying to hack into the army website and decides who is an actual threat or not. He'll be with a new company and be a permanent employee starting his first day, which we are really excited about because his current job is temp-to-hire and he still isn't permanent (which mostly has affected our insurance options - and since we live and breath insurance drama, this is big for us). It's a good opportunity for him - or so he tells me. I'm still clinging to the dream that after a few years, he'll have enough experience that we can get a job elsewhere though. Fingers crossed.
Meanwhile we've been enjoying some of the things Sierra Vista has to offer during the Christmas season. We went to Santa's in the Park, which I actually really loved. There are 50 of beautifully painted Santa's, with descriptions about Santa's in different cultures and Santa's meaning throughout the years, scattered throughout the park. And we had to bundle up the kids because even though it's only in the 50's in the evening here, my kids think that is really cold.
