When my friend Courtney was making the move from Mesa to Oregon, she asked me why anyone would want to live in a state that is over 100 degrees for over 120 days of the year. Good question. Yet, a year later, here we still are. It's early May and the weather is in the 90's and it's only getting hotter.
The above picture is the new product I just bought. Did you know that in this Arizona heat, your car can heat up to over 185 degrees? Pretty miserable, especially for the baby. Some Az. mom invented this product to protect her baby, and now their all over the valley. It is basically a quilt that has pockets in it. You shove enormous ice blocks in the pockets, put it on the car seat while you are out, and it keeps the car seat cool and keeps the metal buckles from burning the baby.
You know you live somewhere too hot when you have to tote around a car seat cooler with you on the daily basis. Only 120 days left. . .
